For example, if the host sleeps during the day, the bed bugs will adapt by feeding during the day and vice versa for a sleep/wake schedule that requires the host to sleep at night.
We also utilize canines to sniff out bed bugs from hard-to-reach hiding places. These animals have been trained to detect bed bug pheromones.
